Procrastination at its finest
I'm supposed to be writing up my pre-lab for my biochemistry lab due in roughly 9 hours (10:30AM), but really, i just don't feel like doing it right now. I know I'll kick my ass in the near future, but for now, i frankly don't really care. This blogging business is getting kinda weird... I've been having strange urges to blog. is it a psychological condition or what? Perhaps. Personally, I think it's a matter of needing to unload all the thoughts that fill my brain. Once again, it's only been a week, but it seems like so much longer since i last wrote. Anyways, this week has been such a joke in terms of getting work done. I think I've done exactly all of zilch in the past week in terms of homework. Lucky for me, so far no major assignments have come up, but if I don't get my ass in gear, i will be in severe pain at the end of the semester. So what's new in my life, you ask? Umm... frankly, not much... I cannot for the life of me tell you what i've done all last week. Damn, I hate it when I start rambling, and everything I end up saying lacks any semblance of coherence. The weekend is much more worthy of mention. Friday night, I went out to Carden St. Cafe for dinner with Katie. T'was a delicious time! Even though we had a slight mishap with the pita, it all turned out for the best, as we got it on the house, added to the fact that it was like the yummiest pita i've ever had in my life! But good goddamn, why is it so friggin cold in guelph? this ugmo of a winter is just brutal... I never thought I would be trudging around in -22C weather for the life of me! Even walking to the bus stop from the restaurant was such an ordeal. Wearing my woollen jacket with just a t-shirt = coldness. Saturday was another grand waste of a day. It was just great. I woke up, and had lunch with katie. Lemme tell you, she makes nummy grilled cheese! Then eventually, us and paul and chris eventually made it out to the mall. I bought a gamepad controllet to play all sorts of fun games. especially nintendo emulator games, which I'll get to soon! After copious amounts of mall-age, we made it to Ultra, the nearby supermarket (guelphian equivalent of save-on foods), open 24 hours for grocery goodness! Oh man, I bought over $100 of groceries that day... It was tragic, and beautiful (well, yummy) at the same time! After that, we had planned on dining at Caribou Creek, a "cottage style" restaurant, but seeing the 45 minute wait effectively detered us from that idea. We ended up picking up some pizza and chowing down. I made it just in time to be on--call with Erin. Oh the joys of being an RA. I think should save this. Back in a jiffy!
