Well, I just finished Akira. I may have been getting a bit sleepy during the movie, cuz it's been a long day, or maybe because the quality of my copy blows goats, but it was confusing why things happened... like there was an overall plot to it, but things really just popped up randomly. Weird. maybe I'll watch it again when I'm less tired.
So it appears i'm off to Bumbershoot in Seattle with Mikaela's family. I really hadn't planned on spending money this weekend, as I had turned down Jackie's invitation to go see Radiohead, (yes, I'm a blasphemer) and I told her it seemed a bit expensive, to go see an amazing group whose new work I don't think I fully appreciate yet, even though the company would have been A-plus! :) So then I talked to Mikaela on the phone, and I hadn't really seen her much all summer, since everyone these days are always so busy. Gah. And now I'm going to Bumbershoot, even though it's more expensive... Now I feel bad for telling Jackie I couldn't go cuz of money, and then spending more money to do something else... :( Sorry Jackie! *feelsbad* Oh, anybody want to play 1000 Blank White Cards with me? Teeheehee... it sounds so silly, random and fun! Well have a good labour day weekend, y'all! :)
