A brush with a vagrant ant
I just met one helluva survivor of an lost ant. Seriously, I think it was under the care of the Fates or something. I came downstairs to go look up something for the exam I have in 6 days *eck*, and my mom starts getting all agitated... it turns out there was an ant that had wandered into the abyss known as the kitchen sink, at which point my mom had flushed it down. But did it give up? No! it slowly climbed back out of that pit of doom, only to be washed down again. This happened three times, before my mom brought in the big guns, and turned on the Garburater, thinking it spelt doom for the hardy bug. Amazingly enough, somehow it still survived! This was roughly when I came downstairs, and I watched it climb out of the black hole, and then vainly try to climb up the metallic sides of the kitchen sink. At which point, I whisked it away on a piece of paper and released it outside. I usually do this anyway, but really, if the bugger survives all of that, don't you think maybe there's something... up there that is guiding it to safety? I just don't think that was its fate. Speaking of ants tho, I think they've started invading the sunroom! We'll see what happens next, eh?
