Poor neglected blog :(
Geez, i've seriously neglected this poor thing. Sorry mr. blog. :\ It's been almost a month since I wrote in here. I really have been meaning to write something, but as some things are, they just get pushed to the bottom of the priority list... I've been doing a lot of writing elsewhere... like in my journal, or just with other people, and it has been all hunkydory... So many thoughts that have been going through my head. I just get a bit overwhelmed whenever I try to blog any of them out. Some of the things I've been writing have just things that I don't feel entirely comfortable writing out for the world... so tough beans, y'all... ;p most of it is just mindless drivel anyways (not that this isn't... lol), but really, it would just be the inane ramblings of a silly boy. ;p As well, I think the comment from the last post kinda... well, made me realize how really wide my words can land.. like it was good that Murray who left a comment here was so good natured... it could have turned ugly if he had taken offence. So thanx murray! you're a good guy! :) Frig... now that I'm actually writing, I don't remember all the things I've got to say. Oh, I think I had a Perfect Moment (tm) about a week ago... Ya know, those moments in your life that really make you appreciate life and how amazing it all is. They talked about it in this awesome book called "Banana Boys" about Chinese-Canadian culture, and the trials and tribulations of being a chinese-canadian guy in your 20s. Anyways, I digress, back to the Perfect Moment (tm). I was on my bike on dollarton highway around 4 in the afternoon, and as biked down the road, I could feel the wind weaving its way through my hair, and the smells of the ocean, and of the pavement heated by the sun rush into my nose, making all my olfactory receptors fire off signals to my noggin. And then it hit me. The smoldering heat reflecting off the pavement, and onto my body. It was like I had walked into a sauna. And then came sweet sweet relief as rivulets of wind washed over my body, caressing it and soothing it. And then the heat hit me again, followed by a spasm of wind, and this cycle repeated itself over and over, and the two sensations intertwined, like mozzarella and cheddar on cheese strings. Hehe, silly image, I know, but it just popped up. But it was such an amazing moment, as my bike careened down the road. Streetlamps, houses and trees rushed past me as I pedalled harder and harder. *elated sigh* needtobikemore. Hmm, I've been sorta chipping away at getting a photo gallery up on the web for all the pics I've taken with my digital camera, but the going is kinda slow. I'll tell ya when it's up and running. I've been plowing through the websites that have piled up in my bookmarks, and some I'll update with some links in a while. Wait... I'm rather busy the next 4 days before I leave to visit Katie (Yayyayyay!), so maybe sometime after that, huh? but yeah... 4 days!! I can't wait!!! It'll be so nice to see her again... *sigh* Oh yeah, other news in my life... I phoned Deja Vu, this hair school that does dreadlocks, and I'm supposed to go in for a "hair consultation" tommorow... That should be exciting. I don't think I'll get my dreads before I go visit Katie since I need to make appointments and all... but for sure soon after I return. I think that I'll keep them for a while after I get them anyways, since they need a few weeks or something to "lock up". So it should be good. but yeah, i'm gonna try to get some semblance of early sleep. heh, it's 1:54 in the morning already, and I'm saying it's early. Teehee... so sad... so good night! err... morning :)
