After a long absence
Hello world, I have returned. I have returned from the Abyss... naw, just joshing ya. The last month has been beyond crazybusyinsane! For the most part enjoyable though, so it's all good! Last ya heard from me, I was still leaving vancouver. I've got myself firmly grounded in Guelph, for the most part anyways. School is in full swing now, so things are pretty crazy!! My first midterm this year is in a couple days!! *shrieks* that's crazy, I tell you... cRaZy!!!! But life is treating me great, on the whole. I'm a wee bit (hehe) sleep deprived, and a tad sickly (sniff), but other than that, everything is A-OK! I think I am enjoying being back in Guelph. Well just to recap a whole month's deeds in a paragraph, RA training was incredibly intense... it was just awesome though, as I got to meet tons of cool peoples and everything! And finding out that I was not to be a RA-to-be (RA=Residence Assistant) but an actual full-fledged RA was kinda cool. That and living in East Residence (the apartment style housing) was double cool, since I now get to cook, and am much closer to Katie as well!! (yay!!!) so I was pretty happy about that! The first couple weeks of school have flitted by. We're now into the 4th week of school, I guess, and things haven't settled down like I had imagined they would (surprise, surprise, eh?) Things have been able to maintain their craziness!! but it's all good. Being an RA is not too bad... jsut sometimes it's a little weird... you begin to notice a lot of little things that you otherwise would not have given a rat's ass about, and it's hard, cuz you're sorta in a position of authority, and because of that, there's that little gap between the people you live with. Like I guess it's almost as if they aren't as willing to open up to you because they're scared you'll think differently of them as a result. But that's so not true! Our job is almost the opposite... to LET them open up and stuff.. aw well! Other than that, not too much is new... oh wait.. my room had some nice additions to its decor today... a couple posters, most excellent. and i put some posters up in the hallway too, just to make things look a little more homely and stuff! :) There's still the matter of cleanliness though! There's always one or two people that decide not to do the dishes, and thus, it is many times more difficult to wash your own dishes that way. Not that the people aren't nice... quite the contrary! i'm living with five girls, and they're all very nice people!! :) it's a little wierd living with five girls, but I'm managing okay. Every once in a while, I wonder if I even live in a world with guys, since I'm mostly with katie, and when I'm not, i'm in my suite and they're all girls!!! Well there are a couple guys, namely, Henry, Paul and Chris, but that just ruins my story, so I wasn't gonna put it in, but now I did, so nevermind!! *grin*
